Before I am visiting Vancouver Fashion Week this week, here some designers from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York with their Spring/Summer 2014 collections.
I mainly noticed 60's and 70's influences, pastel or bright bold colours, graphic prints, safari inspirations, bare midriffs, structured fabrics or shear light fabrics.

Flowers, 60's silhouette and style, vibrant colours, geometric prints, black and white.
I really like this collection too, I am not a fan of the bare midriff unless its with high waisted skirts and pants. Great prints and cute skirts, not so sure about the oversized shoulders though, but the rest is beautiful.
I absolutely adore this collection, he knows exactly how to emphasize a woman's body, amazingly strong attitude.

I like the colours however I am not a big fan of this collection, coveralls? At first I did not like the oversized baggy jackets, however if they are not over dresses I really like them.
I like her prints and the vintage 60's style.
Diane Von Furstenberg
One of my favourite designers, however this collection didn't wow me, I always like how feminine and cute she makes a woman look.
I love this collection! The movement in these dresses, the fabrics he used, it reminds me of fairies, ethereal goddesses, and the more structured dresses are stunning too!
Negligee stile dresses, asymmetrical hemlines, great colours, brass, silver and lot of interesting construction details.
